
Nicole Elyukin ~ Doctoral Extern
Nicole Elyukin is an advanced doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology PhD program at Seton Hall University. Nicole works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals. She believes the therapeutic relationship is key to the healing process and strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental space in which clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how they relate to others. Nicole has helped clients work through difficult life transitions, navigate interpersonal difficulties, and cope with emotional distress. With Nicole’s care and guidance, clients gain insight into the issues that contribute to their concerns and make meaningful changes that lead to fuller lives.
Nicole has worked within several clinical settings including private practice, a college counseling center and an intensive outpatient clinic. She has training in a wide range of treatment approaches including Relational Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapies. Nicole’s research and career goals involve specializing in reproductive mental health across the lifespan.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys baking, spending time with family, and catching up on tv shows.
